Confidence

I haven't written a blog in a while because I haven't had the inspiration for it, I write my blogs with how I feel or conversations from the day etc, so I don't want to just write random words making sentences because then it just wouldn't be same.

Today though I have had the inspiration about confidence.
Everybody is atleast confident in one subject, hobby, around a certain person but what if you have to go out your comfort zone infront of a class full of people and do something which you could be terrified of doing.

A friend of mine today had to perform and truth be told at first she didn't want to do it, which for me upset me a little because she had a hell of a lot of time to prepare but didn't seem to make the effort, BUT in the end she did perform and I was so proud because she atleast tried, she went out her comfort zone and did that one thing which scared her and for that I got to applaude her.
now put that to your life if you are faced with a similar dilema DO IT, because if you don't you will regret it for the rest of your life.
Do the thing that scares you because when you look back you can smile at the thought you took chances.

Be confidence in yourself

  1. There is nothing sadder than the unwritten book, the unsung song, the unspoken word, the canvas left blank.

Good on the girl for singing the song even though she didn't want to; for having the confidence to stand up and face her confidence issues to put her talents out there.

I regret throwing away so many opportunities when I was in High School - for not being bold enough to make the decisions that could have changed my life. That's why, this year, I'm going to do The Prince's Trust (because I never bothered with the Duke of Ed and all that), and I'm throwing myself into applying for voluntary work. I may not have the confidence, but by standing up and doing it, I learn that I can, and therefore get the confidence.

So, Sian, I suggest you sing. And sing until your face falls off. I'll be giving guitar and piano another shot. We can support each-other, eh? :)
